BALLAD

JOSE TRIGUERO

In a street, in a square, or in a park, something is being prepared for an awaiting audience. As a scenic backdrop, a wall, an insurmountable barrier, is an inherent part of the scenery and plays a more significant role than it seems at first glance.

Like a kind of cowboy of our era, armed only with cables and a microphone, a man peers into the abyss that is speaking to a crowd, an individual facing a multitude, a person among a mass of people and a wall, an artist caught between a rock and a hard place.

A character with an innocent appearance and dubious intentions will gradually capture our attention, breaking the conventions of a show we thought we were attending as passive spectators. A collective adventure where the audience will question the spectacle itself and their position as spectators.

Seriously interesting and wryly amusing
